All Stars Cricket is a fantastic initiative from the England and Wales Cricket Board aimed at providing children aged five to eight with a great first experience in cricket. It is a fun and active way to develop your child’s skills, and through our eight-week programme they will learn lots – as well as make new friends – in a safe and inclusive environment.
All girls and boys are welcome, and each registered child will receive a pack of cricket goodies including a cricket bat, ball, backpack, water bottle, personalised shirt and cap to keep so that they can continue their love of cricket when they go home.
All Stars Cricket gives girls and boys from the ages of five to eight an opportunity to become a star. The curriculum of fun cricket activities and games provides your children with the basic movement skills to begin a lifelong love of our sport and general physical activity.
For an hour a week over an eight-week period, our fully trained and vetted activators will deliver game-based activities that teach basic cricket skills including catching, throwing and hitting moving balls and social skills such as teamwork and communication. Held at accredited cricket clubs, these courses are the perfect way for your child to learn about cricket and make friends in a safe and, most importantly, fun environment.
Priced at just £40 for the 8 week period - can you afford to miss out?!
All Stars Cricket will run from 5.45pm - 6.45pm every Tuesday at Albert Terrace, Oakenshaw starting Tuesday 15th May and this year we will also run on a Saturday morning from 9.30am - 10.30am, starting May 19th. Both classes run for an eight week period.
